Rob and Joe met at one of the largest UK gaming retailers, responsible for onboarding new game publishers to sell their games on the online store. One of the challenges we faced there was encouraging them to work directly with us over a large aggregators; Or working with a retailer outside of Steam generally in a 'cannibalistic' sales environment.
Rob and Joe leveraged to great effect, the suite of wider group, including wikis and the large gaming media network to bring added value to publishers outside of just the retailers sales.
It was the demand and power of this resource in drawing publishers in (even ones that has expressly rejected working with the retailer previously) that enabled us to develop a philosophy that now underpins everything we do here at 3 Gaming Pillars of “The 3 Pillars that game creators need for their games are Sales, Community & Awareness…
